The new space for bridges and QARC will be a student-run and -initiated center where students can discover campus resources and participate in a welcoming and inclusive environment.
In partnership with the state and local schools, the center works with kindergarten to community college students from socioeconomically disadvantaged environments to build a college going culture.
Offers counseling services, supplemental financial aid, and scholarships to support former foster youth, veterans, student parents, undocumented students, and transfer students of all ages and life experiences
Ensures students with disabilities have the appropriate accommodations and services to fully participate in the Berkeley experience
Provides first-generation students from low-income and educationally disadvantaged backgrounds the guidance and resources necessary to succeed
Expand access to ensure that qualified scholars of all backgrounds can pursue their excellence and passions at Berkeley without financial barriers.
These scholarships increase access and equity, support the basic needs of students like food and shelter, and allow our students to grow as scholars, innovators, and individuals.
Provides scholarships and faculty mentoring support to high-achieving students from local high schools in the Bay Area, Central Coast area (Salinas), San Jose, Sequoia, Sacramento, and Los Angeles
The most prestigious scholarship offered by UC Berkeley to entering undergraduate students, and is the largest Regents’ and Chancellor’s Scholarship program in the UC system.

Ensure that every student can participate in experiential learning endeavors to challenge assumptions and push beyond boundaries.
Provides holistic services, including academic advising, individual tutoring, and study groups, specifically for Cal student-athletes
This faculty-directed mentoring and fellowship program connects undergraduate students with a graduate mentor, a community of peers with shared interests, and campus resources.
Assists students and alumni with career exploration, internship and job searching, and the graduate/professional school application process
Through the center, faculty and community members introduce students to real-world experiences that allow them to grow into our next generation of civic leaders.
Serves more than 10,000 students by providing one-on-one tutoring, study groups, adjunct courses, learning strategies, and topical workshops
Empower every student to achieve all aspects of optimal health, from housing and food security to counseling for emotional and mental health.
This comprehensive program focuses on food, housing, and financial security — all of which directly impacts students’ mental and physical health and success.
The Student Emergency Fund uses donations to support students at UC Berkeley following a community emergency or natural disaster and is providing critical resources to students now during the COVID-19 pandemic. Donations to the fund will be allocated by the Financial Aid and Scholarships Office to help with such necessities as relocating students, housing expenses, food, household goods, clothing, books, and technology solutions for remote learning.
